Inspired by the Peace One Day Organization, the festival's mission is to raise awareness of the International Day of Peace and to inspire young filmmakers to explore issues pertaining to aspects of peace in their films.<br /><br />The Bigger Picture Film Festival will be showing short films in three categories:<br />under 5 minutes<br />5 - 15 minutes<br />over 15 minutes<br />A panel of three judges will select a winner in each category. Two Guest Speakers will be addressing issues influencing peace.<br /><br />The short films must be produced and/or directed by New York Film Academy students or alumni.
